摘要
由于混合稀土硅铁合金的价格远低于单一稀土,国内球铁生产迄今所用REMgSiFe球化剂都是采用混合稀土硅铁合金熔炼,然而研究发现,用单一稀土金属La代替混合稀土,可显著降低白口倾向,增加石墨球数,提高球化等级,消除铸件缩孔、缩松缺陷,获得质量优异的球铁铸件。因此,在铸造生产领域有针对性地开拓单一RE的应用,将是一件十分有意义的工作。
Since the price of mishmetal-SiFe alloy is much lower than the price of any single rare earth element,all REMgSiFe nodularizing alloys used in nodular cast irons production in China are made with the mishmetal-ferrosilicon alloy. However,an investigation has revealed that,by using single rare earth element La as the substitute for the mishmetal to produce LaMgSiFe nodularizing alloy,it is possible to decrease the chilling tendency obviously,increase nodule count, increase nodularity,eliminate shrinkage,and as a result,the nodular iron casting will be of high quality.Therefore, development of the single rare earth element usage for some special purpose in the foundry production will be a significant work.
