Jiao Xun's Annotation on Mencius and the Academic Research of Qing Dynasty and It's Meanings

焦循《孟子正义》是清代考证学的代表作之一,取得了较高的学术成就,由此可以窥见清学作为"中国的文艺复兴"的概貌及其兴起、繁盛的原因。清学研究给我们提供了良好的当代借鉴,启示着我们正确看待学术与实用的问题,形成良好的学术风气,处理好继承、借鉴和创新的关系,繁荣我们今天的学术研究。

This paper analyzes completely and deeply the academic achievements of Jiaoxun's Annotation on Mencius. And it looks deeply into the scholarship condition of the whole Qing Dynasty, the reasons of its beginning and prosperity. At the same time, this article also considers about the realistic meanings of academic research of Jiaoxun and the whole Qing Dynasty.
