With the development of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT) and the popular use of clinical screening for lung cancer, pulmonary ground-glass opacity(GGO) nodules are encountered with increasing frequency which had been proved to be closely related to early lung adenocarcinoma and attracted much attention from scholars both at home and abroad. A comparative study between CT features and pathological classification on GGO plays an important role in the choice of surgery or the surgical operation style. This article reviews advances on comparative study between quantitative computer tomography analysis and pathology of pulmonary ground-glass nodules.
