“入世”与中国西部中外合作办学及对策建议

A Study and Some Solutions on Sino - Foreign Co - operation in Education in West China after China's Entry of WTO

中外合作办学是我国适应加入WTO的新形势,进一步扩大教育对外开放,满足人民丰富多样的教育需求,推进教育改革与发展的重要举措。本文主张西部地区要抓住西部开发与“入世”的双重机遇,扩大教育对外开放的程度,以多样化的中外合作办学模式,在更大范围、更广领域和更高层次上参与教育对外合作,以此促进西部教育实现跨越式发展,并就如何促进西部中外合作办学的发展提出若干对策建议。

The Sino - Foreign cooperation in education is an important measure taken for China to adapt to the new situation after its entry of WTO, to further broaden the opening of education to the outside world, to satisfy people' s different needs for education, and to increase the reform and development of education. This article proposes that the western part of China should seize the double chance of the opening up of West China and China's entry of WTO, broaden the opening of education to the outside world, and participate in the cooperation in education with foreign countries in a broader area and at a higher level with various models of Sino - Foreign cooperation in education. In addition, the article puts forward a few suggestions about how to promote the Sino - Foreign cooperation in education in West China.
