Creating a Mechanism for Overseas RMBCirculation in the Context of the“One Belt One Road”Strategy

在当前的国际环境下,推动人民币国际化的重要环节之一,就是逐步让人民币在离岸市场连续流动和交易起来,建立起完善的离岸循环机制,包括流出、流通和回流环节。“一带一路”倡议的推出为促进人民币流出境外创造了条件,我们需要在此基础上探讨促进人民币境外实现自循环,进而进一步推动人民币国际化的途径。

Abstract:Under the current international circumstances,one of the important steps of promoting the RMB’s internationalization is to gradually increase the continuous flowing and trading of the currency in the offshore market,and to build up a complete offshore circulation mechanism which incorporates outflows,backflows and circulation.The“One Belt,One Road”initiatives have provided favorable conditions for the RMB to flow abroad.We need to explore on this basis how we can achieve a self-loop flow of offshore RMB,and how we can push forward the internationalization of this currency.
