【Objective】To study jujube- wheat intercropping on small scale spatial variability of soil nutrient in Zepu County and improve the efficiency of the field gathering information in order to provide a scientific basis for reasonable fertilization and agricultural sustainable development. 【Method】Statistical software GS+was used to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of the jujube- wheat intercropping at 0 ~ 20 cm,20 ~ 40 cm,40 ~ 60 cm of soil available nitrogen, available phosphorus and organic matter. 【Result】Firstly, soil available nitrogen, available phosphorus, organic matter on 0 ~ 20 cm were higher than other layers. Those on 20 ~ 40 cm and 40 ~ 60 cm layers are more or less. Secondly, available nitrogen, available phosphorus, organic matter were medium level variation on jujube- wheat intercropping, available nitrogen, available phosphorus had strong spatial correlation at 0 ~ 60 cm. But organic matter had a strong spatial correlation at 0 ~ 20 cm,a medium spatial correlation at 20 ~ 40 cm,a very weak spatial correlation at 40 ~ 60 cm.Thirdly, the highest content of available nitrogen, available phosphorus, organic matter on each layer did not distribute near the jujube completely, and some deviated the jujube. Each nutrient content distribution varied as the distance to jujube increased.【Conclusion】The distribution heterogeneity of soil available nitrogen, available phosphorus and organic matter content existed in jujube- wheat intercropping system.
