中山陵建筑风格对国立武汉大学珞珈山新校舍的影响——兼论开尔斯、李锦沛在其中之角色

The Influence of the Architectural Style of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum on the New Buildings in Luojiashan Campus of National Wuhan University and the Role of Francis Henry Kales and Poy Gum Lee in the Planning and Design

1929-1930年间,国立武汉大学在武昌珞珈山新校址所进行的校园总体规划和男生宿舍等一期校舍工程的建筑设计,与稍早前的南京中山陵设计建造工程有着极为密切的关联。设计珞珈山新校舍的美籍总建筑师开尔斯,曾参与中山陵方案竞征并获奖。美籍华裔建筑师李锦沛是吕彦直逝世后实际负责中山陵工程后续设计的主要建筑师,他同时也深度参与了武汉大学珞珈山新校舍的早期规划设计,并将中山陵的一些设计理念和建筑风格带到了珞珈山。开尔斯和李锦沛的珞咖山校园规划设计都体现出了中山陵建筑风格的重要影响。

There was affinity between the campus overall planning and the design of the phase-one buildings of National Wuhan University from 1929 to 1930 and the design and construction of Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum.Francis Henry Kales,the American architect of Luojiashan Campus,once competed for the design of Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum.Chinese American architect Poy Gum Lee,who was in charge of the subsequent design of Dr.Sun Yatsen’s Mausoleum after Y.C.Lu’s death,participated in the early design of the new buildings of National Wuhan University,bringing to Luojiashan Campus some design concepts and architectural style of Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum.The planning and design of Luojiashan Campus by F.H.Kales and P.G.Lee reflected the significant impact of the architectural style of Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum.
