老年精神疾病患者院内跌倒调查

A study on falls among psychogeriatric inpatients

目的 :了解老年精神疾病患者院内跌倒发生情况及其危险因素。 方法 :回顾性调查我院1998～ 2 0 0 1年入院的 381例老年精神疾病患者的跌倒发生情况 ,并对其危险因素进行Logistic回归分析。 结果 :跌倒发生率 13.4 % ,骨折率 5 .0 %。多因素Logistic回归分析显示轻～中度痴呆 ,合并慢性疾病是跌倒的主要危险因素 ,而有配偶则是其保护因素。女性跌倒骨折发生率达男性的 4倍。跌倒者死亡率是非跌倒者的 3倍。 结论 :跌倒在老年精神疾病患者中较常见 ,带来严重后果应予重视。

Objective:To study the status and risk factors for falling in a psychogeriatric inpatient population. Method:381 patients aged 60 years and more,who represented all admission to the psychogeriatric unit between 1998-2001,were surveyed to study the falls by means of retrospective cohort. Results:Among 381 patients, there were 51 falls and 19 fractures,accounting for 13.4% and 5.0% respectively.The multifactors logistic-regression analysis has released that both mild-moderate dementia and combined chronic diseases were the main risk factors of falls,while having a spouse was negatively associated with the falls.Fractures were closely related to gender that females experienced four-fold the fracture rate of males.In addition,there was a statistically significant relationship between falls and death. Conclusion:Falls among the psychogeriatric inpatients are a frequent problem,which should be highlighted in clinic.
