摘要
Love songs are very significant in The Book of Songs. Firstly, they figu ratively reappear the ancient religious rites of praying for descendants, which are solemn, ceremonious and grand. Furthermore , they vividly express our foref athers′sense of love, such as freedom, enthusiasm and democracy. And they also attach importance to the worship of reproduction, which show our forefathers′r eligious complex in pursuit of life-force. All of those mean that The Book of Songs embody profound anthropological value and cultural implications.
