A Brief Review of The Contemporary Chinese Dictionary (Chinese-English Edition)

就《现代汉语词典》(增补版)中存在的诸多问题,如选词遗漏、选词不当、译文错误、译文陈旧、新词不新等,提出若干管见。

The paper is an attempt to point out and correct some of the mistakes in The Contemporary Chinese Dictionary (Chinese-English edition) such as insufficiency in English translation, utterly wrong rendering of English equivalents, unbalanced choice of entries and lack of some new entries.
