史前图像的媒介特性——媒介形态视野下的岩画研究

The media characteristics of Prehistoric image——A Study on the Rock Paintings in the view of Media Morphology

本文在媒介形态的视野下,对作为人类符号传播起点的岩画进行了媒介特性的梳理和讨论。作者认为,作为史前图像的岩画,在时空特性上以跨越时间为主要意义;在功能特性上以记录仿真为主要目的;在符号性质上以非语言符号为构成形式;而在环境特征上,岩画所依存的媒介载体与环境之间的关系亦传递了大量的潜在信息。

From the perspective of media morphology,this paper discusses the media characteristics of rock paintings,which is regarded the starting point of human symbol transmission.We believe that,as the image of the prehistory,on the aspect of temporal and spatial characteristics,rock paintings take crossing time as the main demands.On the aspect of functional characteristics,rock paintings take record and imitation as their main purpose.On the aspect of symbolic nature,rock paintings are mainly based on nonverbal symbols.In term of environmental characteristics,the relationship between the media and the environment that rock paintings rely on also conveys a great deal of potential information.
