摘要
本文以普渡大学的中国留学生为研究对象,深入考察留美中国学生互联网使用与文化认同的关系。研究发现,英文的互联网使用行为对美国文化认同产生显著的正向影响,对中国文化认同产生显著的负向影响;互联网使用动机、互联网自我效能以及通过互联网与家人联系频率对文化认同有显著影响。
In order to fully understand the relationship between Internet use and cultural identity of Chinese students in the United States,this paper selects Chinese students from Purdue University as the research object,using quantitative research method and qualitative research method.The study found that Internet use behavior in English has a significant positive impact on American cultural identity and has a significant negative impact on Chinese cultural identity.Internet motivation,Internet self-efficacy and the frequency of contact with family and friends through the Internet have a significant impact on cultural identity.This research result is a supplement to the related areas of acculturation research.It has certain academic significance and value.
