Interpersonal Metafunction Analysis on a Tourist Guide

Tourist guide,which is a special type,practically makes details of the arrangement with journey as well as gives orders to tourists. Tour guide,as a commander and a server,is closely related to tourists who are customers as well as carrying out orders. So the orders of tourist guide should be given po-litely under this special relationship. In order to understand the polite expression of giving order,this paper makes analysis on a tourist guide from the perspective of interpersonal metafunction,especially from Mood and Modality.
