对新版《辞海》“班级授课制”词目的质疑

Query about the Entry "The Approach of Class Teaching " in Cihai New Edition

1999年版《辞海》"班级教学制"词目认为:班级教学制最早出现在16世纪欧洲的一些学校中;中国采用班级教学制,始于1862年(清同治元年)的京师同文馆。这种观点是值得商榷的。大量相关资料可以充分地证明:早在14世纪末,中国明代初期的国子监就已经有了班级教学制。

According to Cihai (1999),the entry of 'Approach of class Teaching' claims that this approach initially emerged in some European schools around 16th Century, and in 1862 (the first year of the reign of Emperor Tongzhi of Qing Dynasty) it was adopted by Tong wen Guam of Capital City. However, on the basis of recent studies, the paper argues that the Chinese tradition of Class teaching can be traced far back to the late 14th century when the Empenial College of early Ming Dynasty has initiated the approach of Class teaching
