The new advance in the research of the engineering of the plastics is introduced. The theory and method of the engineering modification of the plastics are discussed. The significance and efficience of the engineering modifying methods for the plastics, such as the fiber reinforcement, chemical grafting, blending, adding of the nucleating agent, adding of the inorganic nanoparti-cle, are discussed in detail.
