The Joy Luck Club:A Song of “Swan” and its Political Metaphor

本文将谭恩美的《喜福会》作为研究对象,对其中的"天鹅"之歌进行了适当的分析,通过研究四位移居异国他乡的华人母亲及其女儿的生活情况,表现了异国他乡华人在身份建构方面的努力和抉择,并基于政治视角,深入分析了华人母亲在移民过程中身份逃逸和共同体重新辖域化的问题,形成更为深刻的认识。

This article takes Amy Tan’s The Joy Luck Club as the research object,and analyzes the song of ' Swan' in it.Through the study of four mothers living in different countries and the lives of their daughters,show their efforts and choices of the Chinese in foreign countries in the identity construction.In terms of efforts and choices,and based on the political perspective,the paper deeply analyzes the problems of identity escape and community re-localization in the process of Chinese mother immigration,thus forms a deeper understanding.
