Application of “Adaptation” Strategy in the Translation of Children Literature Works——Taking Ren Rongrong's Charlotte's Web for Example

本文以中国著名儿童文学作家、翻译家任溶溶《夏洛的网》中文译本为例,讨论了"改译"策略在儿童文学翻译中的应用。"改译"策略在儿童文学翻译中的应用主要体现在增补、整合和多种艺术手法的使用三个方面。通过"改译",译文可以达到自然流畅、通俗易懂、朗朗上口、富有童趣的效果。

Ren Rongrong is the Chinese famous children literature writer and translator.This paper,taking his Chinese version Charlotte’s Web for example,mainly discussed the application of'adaptation'strategy in the translation of children literature works.The'adaptation'strategy applied in the children literature works mainly includes three translation methods,namely,addition,restructuring and application of artistic skills,which makes the translated version natural,fluent,easy to understand,readable and kid-friendly.
