Application and Limitations of Self-report in Cognitive Linguistic Studies

自述作为认知语言学研究中重要的获取研究数据的方法之一 ,正越来越受到人们的注意。但目前针对自述研究方法的系统分析尚不多见。本文从方法论的角度出发 ,就自述方法在认知语言学研究中的应用及自述材料的局限性进行综合评述 。

Due to the current denial of access to direct observation of the mental mechanisms in the human mind, more and more attention has been paid to the application of self-report protocols in cognitive linguistic studies. However, systematic analysis of self-report in cognitive linguistic research methodology is so far surprisingly scanty. This paper presents a detailed investigation into the application and limitation of the self-report methods and self-report data in cognitive linguistic research.
