公正是刑事诉讼的最高价值。我国刑事诉讼改革的目标应当是追求司法的公正和正义,而完善被告人的权利保障机制应是刑事诉讼改革的重要内容。确定个体利益优先即被告人利益优先作为刑事诉讼的价值取向,是我国刑事诉讼走向公正文明的重要举措。
