On the Scramble for the Jurisdiction over Jianzhou Nüzhen between King T'aejong of Yi Dynasty and Ming Dynasty

朝鲜与明朝境内边疆民族建州女真的关系,是当时中朝两国政治关系的重要组成部分。朝鲜太宗王在位时期,为了拓展疆土,极力与明王朝争夺居于中朝边境地区的女真人的管辖权。这主要体现在:设法阻挠委身于朝鲜境内的女真首领猛哥帖木儿归附明朝;武力打击明朝所设建州卫分支毛怜卫的指挥使把儿逊。

The relation between Yi Dynasty and the frontier minority nationality Jianzhou Nüzhen of Ming Dynasty was a very important component of the Sino Korean political relation of that time.During the reign of King T'aejong,in order to expend the territory, Yi Dynasty scrambled for the jurisdiction over Nüzhen who lived in the boarding area of the two Dynasties by the following means:trying to prevent the Nüzhen leader Menggetiemuer who lived in Korea from returning to Ming Dynasty and attacking Baerxun, the Commanding officer of Maolianwei.
