The Function, Quality and Content of Political Philosophy

政治哲学是政治学理论体系的最高层面,也是政治学研究的基础。因为政治哲学的性质是对政治思维的前提性反思,政治哲学的内容是讨论人类政治生活所面临的困境问题,政治哲学的基本功能体现为两个方面:一是批判性理论建构功能;二是政治思维的培养功能。

Political philosophy locates at the top of theoretical system of politics, which forms also the base of politics. Because the property of political philosophy is the basic re-thinking of politics, the content of political philosophy aims at discussing the dilemma of human beings' politics. There are two main functions in political philosophy; the function of critical rational construction and training the political thinking respectively.
