摘要
本文旨在运用韩礼德与哈桑的衔接理论,并借鉴牛保义(1998)有关隐性衔接方式的论述,去探讨英语抒情诗歌中常见的一些隐性衔接方式.本文认为英语抒情诗歌作为一种特殊的文学类别,其隐性衔接方式体现在语言的不同层面,如:语音层、词汇语法层和语用层等.对这些不同层面上不同衔接方式的把握有助于我们加深对诗歌语言变异的理解,加深对诗歌意义的理解.
This paper attempts to analyze the covert cohesive devices in English lyrics on the basis of Halliday and Hasan s cohesion model. It is concluded that, as a particular literary genre, the covert cohesion in English lyrics is represented at the differentl levels of language,such as phonological level, lexicogrammartical level and pragmatic level. The mastery of covert cohesion in English lyrics can help us deepen the understanding of lyrics.
