The idea ' Minzhu'(' 民 主 ' )originating in the initinal stage of Zhou Dynasty was proposed by the Zhou people after they realized that the will of Heaven is not perpectual. It's comparatively complete meanings should include: the monarch of the populace, ' virtue worship'(' 明 德 ' 或 ' 敬 德 ' ), ' caution punishment'(' 慎 罚 ' ), ' populace protection'(' 保 民 ' ), and so on. This idea inspired directly the trend of thougt, that is ' the principle of populace worship'(民 本 主 义 )during the Spring snd Autumn Period and the Warring States, and it is the origin of the idea ' rule of virtue'(' 德 治 ' )in ancient China.
