Carrying out the tasks each of them deems important, the service setups for environmental education in primary and secondary schools in the UN, regional organizations, national governments and non-governmental organizations have formed a network, which facilitates a fast and healthy development of environmental education globally. This thesis attempts a thorough analysis of the functions of these administrative units.
