摘要
英汉典型比较句(XWthanY及X比YW)格式存在如下差别:句法构成成分不同;比较项繁简度与线性长度不一致;语义类型有别;结论项句法功能不一样。
This paper,on the basis of statistic analysis,makes a contrastive study on the comparative construction with 'than'(比) between English andChinese.From their syntactic formation, there are some clear differences,not only between the composed componems Of whole construction, but also between the degrees of complication,the linear length and the semantic type in items of comparison,and the semantic function in items of conclusion.
