作为一名高校教育工作者,在全面学习贯彻落实党的"十六大"的精神,全面贯彻落实"三个代表"的重要思想的基础上,确保高校的稳定,推动高校的改革与发展是摆在高校教育工作者面前的一个新课题。高等教育在贯彻党的教育方针,坚持为社会主义现代化建设服务的前提下,要与时俱进,加快发展,要确保一手抓改革发展,一手抓稳定,两手抓,两手都要硬。

Being an educator in higher learning institution, one should earnestly study and act in the spirit of the 16th national Congress of the Party and carry out the important 'Three Represents' thought so as to ensure stability and promote the reform and development in the higher learning institutions. This is a new project for all the educators in the higher learning institutions. Higher education should carry out the education guideline of the Party and serve the socialist modernization drive. It should also advance with the times and develop rapidly by adhering to the reform and development on the one hand and to the stability on the other.
