关于提高教育质量的几点思考

Reflections on improving the academic quality of China's higher education

随着科学技术和社会突飞猛进的发展,特别是我国加入WTO,直接步入了经济全球化的进程,我国高等教育体制改革也取得了历史性突破性的进展,提高教育质量已成为世界高等教育的共同主题。高等教育的根本问题是教育质量问题,高等教育现代化的核心是提高教育质量,要从制度、措施、体制上创新,全面提高教学质量,不断提升学校的竞争力。

With the rapid progress in our science technology as well as the fast devolopment of our society,particularly after entry of WTO ,China's higher education system has been involved in the process of the economic globazation and has also made the historically significant progress.How to improve its academic quality has become a common issue as a key issue for higher education all over the world.The core of the modernization of higher education is to raise its academic standard.This paper holds that only a serious reform in our educational system,policy and procedures could possibly update our present higher education and thus make it all more competitive.
