On Quality Structure of English Teachers in a Globalization Context

以全球化为时代背景分析了英语应试教育的若干弊病,指出英语教师要着力更新教学目的观、教学方法观和教师角色观,努力构建和发展以创新为核心的能力体系,包括吸纳异质文化能力、言语表达能力、创新科研能力和现代教育技术能力,从而迎接全球化时代对英语教师的考验。

This thesis analyzes the disadvantages of the examinationoriented English education in a globalization context. It argues that teachers of English should try to update their concepts in terms of the teaching objective and methodology and in terms of their role-playing; that they should make efforts to construct and develop the system of creativitycentered capacity characterized by the capacity of absorbing alienate culture, of speaking, of creative scientific research, and of utilizing modern educational technologies, thereby meeting in with the demand of the globalization era upon them.
