Synthesis of acetic acid by isomerization of methyl formate

研究了甲酸甲酯异构化制醋酸的新途径,评价了几种过渡金属化合物对该反应的催化性能,并考察了助催化剂及溶剂对催化剂催化性能的影响。结果表明,钯和钴的化合物在以N-甲基吡咯烷酮(NMP)作溶剂时具有良好的催化活性。

A novel route for the isomerization of methylformate to acetic acid was investigated.The natureof the metal catalysts,their promoters and the solventswere evaluated.Both palladium and cobaltcompounds in n-methylpyrrolidone are highly efficient.The reaction is carried out under mild COpressure.
