蓝离散星现象的研究进展

Developments in the Studies of the Blue Straggler Phenomenon

星团和星协中蓝离散星的存在是一种较普遍的现象,这对传统的恒星演化理论提出了挑战。迄今对于蓝离散星已进行了很多观测和理论研究工作。本文就有关蓝离散星本质和起源的各种假说进行了讨论。我们认为,不同的蓝离散星可以具有不同的形成机制,不应强求所有的蓝离散星都起源于同一种物理过程。

The occurrence of blue stragglers in star clusters and associations is a common phenomenon and presents a challenging problem for traditional steller evolutionary theories. Much observational and theoretical work has been done on blue stragglers. In this paper, various explanations for their nature and origin are reviewed, from which it is suggested that there may exist a variety of formation mechanisms leading to different blue stragglers.
