中国史学界对美国“不承认主义”外交政策的介绍往往是与“史汀生主义”相提并论的 ,而事实上“不承认主义”并不等于“史汀生主义” ,它的使用范围远远超过了“史汀生主义”的使用范围。更为重要的是 ,1 932年“史汀生主义”的提出 ,并非美国政府第一次对华使用“不承认主义”外交政策 ,早在 1 91 5年 ,美国就在对华问题上使用过“不承认主义”

In the history study area of China,the history books usually introduce the Nonrecognition Policy same as “Stimson Doctrine”,but in fact “Stimson Doctrine”is only a case of the Nonrecognition Policy.Furthermore,“Stimson Doctrine”is not the first time that US applied Nonrecognition Policy in Chinese affairs.Early in 1915,US had already applied the policy to China.$$$$
