论当前国际社会的主要矛盾及中国的战略选择

Principal Contradiction in Current InternationalCommunity and China's Strategy

冷战后,学术界对国际社会的主要矛盾是什么莫衷一是。实际上,美国称霸与世界反霸的矛盾、西西矛盾、南北矛盾、东西矛盾等都不是当前国际社会的主要矛盾。当前国际社会的主要矛盾是国际社会对和平与发展的追求同影响和平与发展的因素在增多之间的矛盾。随着中国的崛起,中国处于国际社会中各种基本矛盾的交汇点的特点日益明显。中国必须选择全面发展的战略,首先把自己的事情办好,并全面推行体现和平与发展的外交战略,以化解崛起过程中遇到的各种阻力。

: After the Cold War, no conclusion could be drawn by the academic circles about what was the (principal) contradiction in the international community .Actually, the current international contradictions are far from the contradiction between the U.S.'s seeking hegemony and the world's opposing hegemony; or contradictions among the West,between the South and the North or between the East and the West .Instead, the contradiction between the international community's unceasing pursue for peace and development and the increasing factors affected peace and development has been considered as the principal one. With China's rising , it is getting apparent that China is in the joining place of various basic contradictions in the current international community .Therefore, handling its own offairs well at first,China must choose the strategy of all-round development, and carry out the diplomatic strategy involving peace and development so as to clear away obstacles while rising .
