Humanization of science and technology and the oriental idea of Xinxing

科技与人文的失调集中表现在当今“真”与“善”的冲突上。文章试图用东方心性之学来解决这一困境 :将科技人文化即主要是科技道德化 ,尤其应当把心性形上思想融合到现代科技实践中 ,使其尽量避免负面效应 ,发挥正面功效 ,福祉人类。

In modern age, the imbalance between science, technology and humanity is mainly manifested in the conflict between the true and the good. In this paper, the author tries to solve this problem by virtue of the oriental thought of Xinxing. The humanization of science and technology refers mainly to the moral standard of science and technology. Most important of all, we should absorb the metaphysical ideology of Xinxing into the practice of modern science and technology so as to make it serve people instead of doing harm.
