Achievements of Chinese Ancient Exegesis Interpreters' Grammar Research Probed in the Spring and Autumn Commentaries' Notes

中国古代有语法学,古代训诂学家在随文释义和许多论著中都有丰富的语法内容的阐述。在《公羊传》《梁传》注释中已出现了语法研究的萌芽。语法学产生于两汉注释书,到西晋时,《左传》杜预注对语法的分析、研究已相当成熟。总之,中国古代训诂学家语法研究的成就是很大的。

The study of Chinese grammar existed long time ago in ancient China. Chinese exegesis interpreters give plenty of grammatical elaboration in annotations and research works. The Chinese grammar research originated in Gongyang Commentary's and Guliang Commentary's explanatory notes in late Zhou Dynasty. The systematic study of grammar emerged in the Western and the Eastern Han Dynasties,and the research to the analytical grammar rules became mature in the explanatory notes of Zuo's Commentary in Western Jin Dynasty. To summary it up, we can see the great achievements in Chinese ancient grammar research. 
