The Mexican silver dollar was cast during the year 1823-1903 in Mexico. In the middle period of 19 th century while the end of Qing Dynasty, this kind of silver dollar adapted the development of curency system in our country, and became the most popular dollars circulated in the eastern and southern area of China. In the same time, it had stimulated the birth of Chinese silver dollar system. After the revolution of 1911, the source of the dollar had exhausted, beaten by the Chinese own silver dollars as well, Mexican dollar went to a decadent way.
