A Morphologically Based Semantic Study of Antonymy in English

关于英语反义关系中与词汇形态有关的深层语义关系,有关文献中较少涉及.本文以形态为切入点,以同一个词有两个反义词的情况为例,归纳了对立双方的三种不同形态关系,分析了产生这一现象的原因以及在不同形态关系中三个词之间的深层语义关系.

In the literature on antonymy, little attention has been given to the morphological aspect, especially semantic differences reflected in different morphological relations. With both semantic and morphological concern, this paper observes three different morphological relations in the cases of one word with two antonyms in English, trying to answer why this happens and in what ways the three words involved are semantically different.
