叙事学认为 ,隐喻和转喻是两种不同的文本构成方式 ,它们也可以用来区分诗歌和散文。一般认为诗歌是隐喻的 ,而散文是转喻的。但二者又不是截然分开的 ,在抒情性较强的小说作品中 ,常常运用隐喻来构造诗意 ,丰富文本的诗意内涵。鲁迅的小说 ,尤其是那些着重用于自我分析的小说 ,正是大量运用隐喻的方式构造意象 ,蕴含着浓郁的诗意 ,显示出强烈的抒情性。

Narrative literature believes that metaphor and metonymy are two ways used to produce two different kinds of teats. And they can both be used to distinguish between poetry and prose.It is generally thought that poetry is metaphorical while prose is metonymical. However, this is not always fixed. In those lyric writings, the writer always fixes. In those lyric writings, the writer usually uses melaphors to create poetic connotation in order to strengthen poetry writings. Lu Xun, in his novels, especially in those self analysis ones, uses lots of metaphors to create images. And it is the use of metaphors that makes those novels embody rich poetic connotation and shows strong lyric characteristics.
