Network convergence and services convergence are an object long pursued in the telecommunication industry, computer network industry, broadcast & television network industry. It is hoped that using one single network can perform communication of various networks. This convergence will depend on the setting-up of integrated network platform. More and More advanced techniques will be adopted in Digital TV fields. The Broadcast & Television operators should pay more attention to the update technology-IPv6. This paper focuses on the IPv6 middleware, transition and implements, typical application, standardization.
