摘要
求得由光纤长度、双折射参数和扭转速率表达的扭转椭圆双折射光纤Jones矩阵和Mueller矩阵的本征值、本征矢、本征偏振态和对应的等效双折射矢量及其在Poincare球上的表示,给出任意椭圆偏振态关于本征偏振态分解的幅值和光强表达式,并对扭转椭圆双折射光纤的拍长等问题作了初步讨论.
Eigenvalues, eigenvectos, polarization eigenstates and the corresponding equivalent birefringent vectors of the Jones matrix and Mueller matrix of spun elliptical birefringent optical fiber are obtained. These quantities are expressed by length, birefringent parameters and spinning rate of the fiber, and the expressions in Poincare sphere are derived. Amplitudes and intensities of the polarization eigenstate decomposition of arbitrary elliptical polarization states are given. Problems such as beat length of the spun elliptical birefringent optical fiber are discussed.
