Information on the Internet and Relationshipsbetween Ethno-Nationalities

互联网带来人类信息交流方式飞跃式变革 ,网络的大容量信息及其迅速的传播对多民族社会的民族关系产生了越来越明显的影响。文章分析了当前互联网上有关中国民族的信息状况 ,指出 ,就中国而言 ,网络信息对民族关系发展的影响具有双重性 :一方面 ,网络丰富的经济技术信息和文化信息有助于少数民族地区的经济社会发展 ;另一方面 ,迅速变化的世界直接对各民族成员的价值观形成全面冲击 ,其造成的影响将有可能增加社会管理的风险和成本。为了充分发挥网络信息对民族地区经济社会的正面影响 ,减少和规避互联网信息对民族关系的负面影响 ,应该加强对信息内容的有效管理 。

The Internet brought rapid transformation in the mode of information exchange among humans. The huge quantity of information on the Internet, as well as its rapid spreading, has produced increasingly obvious effect on the relationship between ethno nationalities in ethnically plural society. This paper analyzes the conditions of the information concerning China's nationalities on the Internet. As far as China is concerned, the paper points out, the influence of the Internet information on the relationship between the nationalities has the character of dualism. On the one hand, the abundant economic, technological and cultural information on the Internet is beneficial to economic and social development in ethnic minority areas. On the other, the rapidly changing world brings all round impact on the values of various nationalities and thus may increase the risk and the cost of social management. In order to make full use of the positive influence of the Internet on the economic and social development in ethnic areas and to decrease and avoid its negative influence on the relationship between nationalities, great efforts should be made to reinforce the management of the information on the Internet and to improve the quality of the information recipients.
