摘要
本文旨在探讨德里达的延异说与修辞学的接壤处.德里达的延异说从表面来看,似乎同修辞学的宗旨相悖,其实二者是相通的.延异说以对语言符号体系自足性的质疑、对逻各斯中心主义的质疑为基点,在修辞学方面的意义就是打破了纯修辞的神话.文本的延异性决定了解构的必然性,而解构是有条件的,解构属于一定的语境,解构是在记忆中进行的,这与当代修辞学对语境的自觉观照,对文化传统的自觉观照是一致的.从某种角度来说,德里达的延异说与追求动态中的最佳表达效果的当代修辞学理论形成了互补关系.
The author believes that self concept, as an essential ingredient of personality, involves cultural relativity with regard to both its content and expression. On the other hand, self concept is related to discourse strategy in a subtle yet substantial manner so far as its expression is concerned. This paper explores cultural relativity as seen from the pattern of the defining nature as a human, self identity and self image in either individualism or collectivism. And by referring to the Chinese and English discourse strategies respectively, the author analyzes the effect of self concept upon the corresponding discourse strategy in terms of stance, structure and aesthetic value.
