元代古音学考论

An Investigative View of the Ancient Phonology in the Yuan Dynasty

由于文献材料的散佚,元代古音学鲜见学者言及。元代人在古音观念上有独到见解,戴侗、熊朋来、刘玉汝等人的古音说对清代顾炎武古音学的形成有直接影响。元代人从《说文》谐声和《诗经》用韵方面探讨古音问题的方法,把文字研究与古音研究结合起来,也是十分可取的。

The ancient phonology in the Yuan Dynasty has little been discussed because of the loss of relevant ancient documents. In fact, scholars in the Yuan Dynasty had their original views and observations of ancient sounds. Dai Tong, Xiong Penglai and Liu Yuru were the few best known names, whose views about ancient sounds exerted immediate influence on the shaping of Gu Yanwu's theory of ancient sounds. It is very advisable to us that scholars in the Yuan times incorporated philological studies with ancient sound studies in their practice of exploring the issue of ancient sounds by investigating the homophony in Philological Reviews and the rhymings in Book of Songs.
