On News Media and Decision-making Supervision in Time of Social Transformation

媒介决策监督作为舆论监督的拓展与深化,是当前新闻媒介面临的一个迫切问题。搞好媒介决策监督,对于推进政治体制改革、加强社会主义民主与法制、建设政治文明、促进经济和社会协调发展,具有重要意义。由于转型期矛盾交织,媒介决策监督难度很大。要解决媒介决策监督中信息梗塞、行政干预、监督缺位等问题,必须实行政务公开,改革新闻体制,加强监督合力。

As an extension and intensification of public opinion supervision, the supervision of the media decisionmaking is an urgent problem confronted by the news media. A competent supervision of the media decisionmaking is of great significance to carrying on the reform in political institutions, strenghtening socialist democracy and lawbased administration, developing political civilization and promoting harmonious development of economy and society. In fact, however, the supervision of the media decisionmaking faces great difficulties because of those interwoven contradictions in time of social transformation. Therefore, open executive affairs, reform in journalistic system and cooperation in supervision should be imposed to solve such problems in supervision of the media decisionmaking as communicative barriers, interference from the executive and absence of supervision.
