事物的属性在本质上是作为系统的事物所具有的系统质,因而具有凸现性。它们既可以凸现于组成事物的要素间相互作用的过程中,又可凸现于事物同其环境相互作用的过程中。因此,权变的观念应当影响我们对事物属性的认识和我们对真理的看法。

The attributes of things refer to essentially systematic quality of things as systems, having the nature of emergence. They can emerge in both the process of interaction among the factors of things and the process of interaction between things and their environment. Hence, the idea of contingency should influence both our understanding of the attributes of things and our views on truth.
