目前 ,足迹学面临一个转折和飞跃的时期。要完成好这次转折和飞跃 ,就要解决三大问题 :足迹理论滞后问题、统一认识和正本清源问题、足迹鉴定结论作为法庭证据的理论问题。

To accomplish a turn and leap in the field of footprint science, three major problems should be solved-the outdating of footprint theory, unified recognition and resources, the theory upon which footprint verification is used for evidence in court.
