摘要
隐喻和二语习得研究同属语言认知领域。把隐喻理论应用到二语习得中去,既是隐喻研究发展的必然,也是二语习得研究的需要。本文试图通过对隐喻处理的认知的、语言的和话语交际的分析,把隐喻能力作为语言能力的一部分。在观察二语习得框架中目标语隐喻可能出现的处理特征基础上,论证这个应用的可能性,从而建立隐喻理论在二语习得中的应用实施框架。
The research of metaphor and second language acquisition (SLA) are both related to language cognition. It is bound that theories of metaphor should develop themselves into the field of SLA, and it is necessary for SLA to enrich and enlarge itself by adopting the theories of metaphor. As a pilot study, this paper looks into the cognitive, linguistic and discourse aspects of metaphor processing, so as to place metaphor competence as a construct into language competence. The paper further analyzes the processing features of target language metaphor in the frame of SLA, and argues that the application is possible, thereby setting up an operational frame for the research.
