二次率失真优化截取的感兴趣区域编码 被引量:5

摘要 提出了一种基于优化截取內嵌码块编码(EBCOT)压缩技术感兴趣区域的编码,根据给定的感兴趣区域的最小峰值信噪比要求,利用率失真优化原理自动组织码流。与一般感兴趣区域编码方法不同的是该方法不对小波域的系数进行提升。解码器不需要知道该图像是否存在感兴趣区域或者具体位置,只要进行正常的解码即可。同样重要的是该算法保留了EBCOT的固有特性。实验结果表明,该算法能够获得很好的总体质量。 A method is proposed for EBCOT based ROI(region-of-Interest) coding, which does not lift the coefficients and is implemented by code stream organization. The code stream is organized on the principle of the optimized truncation of rate-distortion. The method is different from the usual one. The decoder does not need to lift the coefficients but just works normally, and more importantly, it does not needs to know whether there is an ROI or where ROI is. This method remains the inherent features of EBCOT. The experimental results show that a better total quality can be attained.
