This paper introduces the present situation of EDA technology development. Aiming at the development trend of electronic industry and the demand of electronic design talents,it tentatively approaches the issue that colleges should emphasize and strengthen students' ideological training on modern electronic system design while introducing EDA technology into their electronic courses.
