Historical Evolution of Music Education of China in Modern Times

近代以来,我国的音乐教育在整个教育变革的大潮中,得到了前所未有的发展:学习西方,兴办学堂,并在学堂中开设乐歌课——音乐课,在许多前辈音乐教育家的努力下,逐步形成了我国的学校音乐教育系统,由此开启了我国近现代学校音乐教育的新历程。

In modern times, our country's music education gained great development in the wave of whole education reforms. By learning from the West, schools were founded and music lessons were provided in classrooms. Through the efforts of many father music educationists, a system of music education was gradually established, thus, a new course of music education of modern schools began in China.
