A Comparison between Mao Zedong's and Deng Xiaoping's View on the Economical Functions of Law

毛泽东、邓小平作为中国第一代和第二代领导集体的核心,在领导中国革命和建设的漫长实践中,各自形成了其较为系统的法律经济职能观。比较起来,两位伟人的法律经济职能观有许多相通和契合之点,也有较大的歧异和不同之处。但总的来说,后者继承和拓展了前者的思想。

As the first and second generation of the leading group, both Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping have both established their own systematic view on the functionof law in the course of Chinese revolution and construction. By comparison, there exist both similarities and differences in their views. But on a whole, Deng Xiaoping, the second generation of the leading group, inherits and surpasses the views of his senior.
